This is a little tale about a dog named Luka who came into our lives and found his forever family. Rescued in September 2017, he was only 7 pounds, frail and shy. Luka didn’t know how to play or show love, yet deep down, he understood he was loved. Named after the song by Suzanne Vega, Luka was guessed to be around six years old when he came into our home. For seven beautiful years, he brought love in his own, tender way. Though Luka has now crossed the rainbow bridge, we know we will see him again, and until then, his spirit remains forever in our hearts.
